1 Take a bowl, and add together the flour, cornstarch, salt and baking soda until blended.
-
2 Pour the melted butter and add two types of sugars into a stand mixer, attach the paddle and beat it on a medium speed until it is combined well.
-
3 Then add the eggs and vanilla along with a couple large spoonful's of the flour mixture, and again combine well.
-
4 Now, keep the paddle attachment on low speed and mix the remaining flour in two additions, and do not over mix it as cookies will become tough.

6 Take the 11 x 17 inches baking sheets which are lined with parchment paper and drop the dough in 3 tablespoon sized scoops.
-
7 Place 4 balls of dough on each sheet and press them slightly to spread.
-
8 Bake the cookies at 350 degrees up to 14 minutes for each tray or until they are golden brown.
-
9 Once they are baked leave them on the tray for 8 more minutes to cool and then transfer them to wire racks.
