Instructions

1 Direction To prepare Tic Tac Mints, average all varieties At home
- 1 In a mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, peppermint extract, fine sea salt, and corn syrup. Mix well until you have a smooth and pliable dough.
- 2 If you're making multiple flavours, divide the dough into separate portions, one for each flavour.
- 3 If using food colouring, add a few drops to each portion of dough and knead until the colour is evenly distributed, achieving the desired shade for each flavour.
- 4 Once you have all the flavours ready, shape each portion into small, pill-sized pieces (about 1/4 inch in diameter). You can use your hands or a small mould to get a more uniform shape.
- 5 Place the shaped mints on a tray or plate lined with parchment paper dusted with tapioca starch or corn-starch. Make sure to leave a little space between each mint to prevent sticking.
- 6 Allow the mints to dry and harden at room temperature for about 1 hour. This step is essential to achieve the characteristic firmness of Tic Tac mints.
- 7 Once the mints have dried, store them in an airtight container to maintain their freshness.
