For the Big Mac Burger
- Hamburger Patties (1/4 lb each): 2
- Sesame Seed Hamburger Buns: 3
- Special sauce (recipe below)
- Shredded lettuce
- Sliced American cheese
- Pickle slices
- Minced onions
- Salt and pepper

For the Special Sauce
- Mayonnaise: 1/4 cup
- Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
- Sweet pickle relish: 1 tablespoon
- White vinegar: 1 teaspoon
- Mustard: 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Garlic powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Paprika: 1/4 teaspoon

- Potatoes: 2 medium (Russet or your preferred variety)
- Vegetable oil: for frying
- Salt: As per taste

- Medium-sized soft drink of your choice

1 Prepare the Special Sauce
- 1 Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together all the special sauce ingredients until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

2 Prepare the Fries
- 1 Preheat Oil: Preheat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or pot to 350°F (175°C).
- 2 Cut Potatoes: Wash and cut the potatoes into thin strips, resembling French fries.
- 3 Fry: Carefully fry the potato strips in batches until they are golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt while they're still hot.

3 Assemble the Big Mac
- 1 Cook Patties: Season the hamburger patties with salt and pepper. Cook them on a stovetop grill or skillet until they are cooked through and well-seared.
- 2 Toast Buns: Toast the sesame seed buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- 3 Layer Ingredients: On the bottom bun, spread a tablespoon of the special sauce. Place shredded lettuce on top, followed by a slice of American cheese, a hamburger patty, minced onions, pickle slices, and another hamburger patty.
- 4 Add More Sauce: Spread another tablespoon of special sauce on the middle bun. Place it over the stacked ingredients.
- 5 Finish the Burger: On the middle bun, place additional shredded lettuce, pickle slices, and minced onions. Top with the top bun.
