Ingredients
-
Ingredients for fresh homemade Costco Food Court Slice Cheese Pizza
- Pizza dough (homemade or store bought): 1 pound
- Pizza Sauce: 1 cup
- Mozzarella Cheese , shredded: 2 cups
- Olive oil: 1-2 Teaspoons for brushing
- Dried oregano and red pepper flakes (optional, for seasoning)
Instructions
-
1 Direction To prepare Costco Food Court Slice Cheese Pizza At home
- 1 Preheat your oven to the highest temperature possible, usually around 475°F (245°C).
- 2 On a lightly floured surface, divide the pizza dough into two equal portions. Roll out each portion into a rough rectangle or circle, about 1/4 inch thick. Try to achieve a shape similar to the Costco pizza slice.
- 3 Place the rolled-out dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone. If using a baking sheet, you may want to place parchment paper underneath for easy removal.
- 4 Generously apply pizza sauce on each dough, making sure to leave a small border around the edges. Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, covering the entire surface of the pizza.
- 5 Optional: If you like extra seasoning, sprinkle some dried oregano and red pepper flakes over the cheese.
- 6 Lightly brush the exposed crust edges with olive oil to get a golden and crispy finish.
- 7 Place the baking sheet or pizza stone into the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden, and the crust is cooked to your desired crispness.
- 8 Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two before slicing.
- 9 Cut each pizza into large, triangular slices, just like the ones you'd find at the Costco Food Court.
