1 Direction to make Wendy's Dave's Single Cheeseburger
- 1 Combine the ground sirloin, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large mixing bowl until equally blended. Divide the ingredients into four equal portions and form each into thin square patties. Freeze for 30 minutes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 2 Over medium-high heat, heat a large griddle or cast iron skillet. When the pan is hot, add the frozen beef patties. Cook them in batches if needed. Cook for about 4 minutes on the first side, pressing down with a spatula. Flip on the side and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Turn the heat off and add a slice of cheese on top of each patty to melt.
- 3 Toast the buns and layer the bottom buns with the remaining cheese pieces. To make the burgers, layer a burger patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles on top. Place the top buns on top of the burgers and spread with mayo and ketchup. Serve right away.
