Ingredients for fresh homemade Chick-fil-A Chocolate Chunk Cookie
- Unsalted Butter, Softened: 1 Cup
- Granulated Sugar: 1 Cup
- Brown Sugar, Packed: 1 Cup
- Eggs: 2 Large
- Pure Vanilla Extract: 1 Teaspoon
- All-Purpose Flour: 3 Cups
- Baking Soda: 1 Teaspoon
- Salt: 1/2 Teaspoon
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks Or Chips: 2 Cups
Instructions
-
1 Direction To prepare Chick-fil-A Chocolate Chunk Cookie At home
- 1 In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
- 2 Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until fully combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 3 Whisk the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl.
- 4 Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until the dough comes together.
- 5 Gently incorporate the semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips into the dough, making sure they are evenly distributed. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for a minimum of 1 hour (or up to 24 hours). Chilling the dough helps to enhance the flavor and texture of the cookies.
- 6 Before baking, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a cookie scoop or spoon to portion out the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving sufficient space between each cookie.
- 7 Bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Although the centres may seem slightly undercooked, they will firm up during the cooling process. After taking the cookies out of the oven, allow them to cool on the baking sheet for approximately 5 minutes. Afterward, move the cookies to a wire rack and let them cool completely.
