Ingredients
-
Ingredients for fresh homemade Bacon (strip) & Fried Egg, cooked
- Strips of Bacon: 2
- Large egg: 1
- Salt and Pepper: As per taste
- Butter or cooking oil for frying
Instructions
-
1 Direction To prepare Bacon (strip) & Fried Egg, cooked
- 1 Set a skillet or frying pan on medium heat.
- 2 Add the bacon strips to the skillet in a single layer, ensuring they don't overlap.
- 3 Cook the bacon for about 4-6 minutes, flipping occasionally, until it becomes crispy and golden brown. Modify the cooking duration according to your preferred level of crispiness.
- 4 Use tongs to transfer the cooked bacon to a plate lined with paper towels. This will assist in soaking up any extra grease.
- 5 In the same skillet, add a small amount of butter or cooking oil, then crack the egg into the skillet. Add a small amount of salt and pepper to the egg according to your taste preference.
- 6 Fry the egg for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the egg white to set and the yolk to remain slightly runny. Cook longer if you prefer a firmer yolk.
- 7 Once the egg is cooked to your liking, carefully slide a spatula under the egg and transfer it to the plate with the cooked bacon.
- 8 Serve your cooked bacon strip and fried egg immediately, and enjoy the delightful combination of flavours and textures!
